Hi, I’m Kimberly — designer, detail-lover, and the creative behind Southern Lore.

I started this business with a simple belief: every event holds a story worth telling beautifully. Whether it’s a wedding day, a baby shower, or a milestone birthday, I love making moments feel meaningful, thoughtful, and deeply personal.

I live in Northeast Georgia with my husband and our two amazing kids, where I find inspiration in the mountains, the change of seasons, and the quiet details that bring spaces to life. I’ve always had an eye for design and a heart for people – and Southern Lore is where those two passions come together.

My approach is down-to-earth and hands-on. I work closely with a select number of clients so I can give each celebration the time, attention, and care it deserves. From moodboards to vendor management, from color palettes to setting the final table – I get in the details so you don’t have to.
